Penuche nut is the original fudge flavor and is made from brown sugar, cream, butter, vanilla, and fresh roasted pecans and walnuts. It is formed by carmelization of the brown sugar, and the flavor is reminiscent of caramel. Frequently it is found in New England and some places in the Southern United States. Now it is available on Drummond Island, Michigan!! Priced per half pound.
